| Apeldoorn, Netherlands Aug 2006 - This was an awesome event that showcased 9 very well trained Schutzhund dogs. All the dogs did very well except for one dog that would not release the sleeve after the courage test. He was disqualified for not "outing." He actually recieved cheers and applause from the crowd for his willingness to hold on. The weather was good for most of the day. However, it rained pretty hard a few times closer to the end of the trial. The spectators just reffered to it as typical Dutch weather. The training grounds and the club house were very nicely maintained. There were approximately 400-500 people in attendance for this event. A great experience for any dog enthusiast. |
